meet maritza.

“I started my clay journey when everything felt out of control. Clay reminded me that it’s okay to let go. My work is all created with sadness, playfulness, and anxiety — all with the intention of bringing some happiness and joy to life. I want to create a space for students to feel like it’s okay to make mistakes, feel safe in their vulnerability, and help them grow their own relationship with clay. Outside of the studio, I’m an LMFT and Art Therapist. I love bringing to class my studio assistant, Junie, the sweetest and cuddliest Pittie you will ever meet!”
