Remember friendship bracelets? This is our campaign to bringing them back.

Join us at the bead bar to re-live the sweet nostalgia of stranding a bracelet, necklace, anklet, you name it — but with an elevated twist!

In this 3 hour, one time class you will:

  • create a color scape out of the studio’s selection of glass + gemstone beads

  • learn to work with stainless steel stranding wire + beading tools

  • secure your piece with a sterling silver or gold plated closure

Everyone can plan to leave this 3 hour workshop with at least one sturdy bracelet or necklace you can treasure for years to come!

The studio will provide all tools + materials. If you have a specific vision, you can BYOB and stop by Bead World Seattle to build your own custom array of beads. This class is a great opportunity to come and chit chat with some strangers, or to come with a pal or two.

Private beading parties for groups of up to 8 are available too!

  • if you have a specific vision in mind, you’re welcome to shop for beads before the workshop and bring them in to work with! the rest of the parts will be provided.

    reading glasses with magnification or a magnifying glass are extra helpful if you have trouble seeing small objects.

  • The studio is located at 4800 Airport Way S.

    Be careful not to park in the numbered spots in the lot. You may be towed - and not by us! There is street parking across the street and down the road on s alaska street, right past the fedex, which is where we'd recommend parking.

    You'll want to enter through door #1, walk through the doors to the left, then up the stairs to the right! Class will be held in our loft. We have a small space, so it's pretty easy to navigate :)

  • all metalsmith class sales are final.

    with these offerings being so limited, it’s nearly impossible to accommodate make-ups. please only sign up for a class if you are sure to attend all classes in the session.
